Khaleda Zia’s condition is not stable, she recognized us: Mirza Abbas

BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is under close observation of doctors in the hospital. Meanwhile, Mirza Abbas, a member of the party’s standing committee, said that her physical condition is not stable. However, she recognized us. Mirza Abbas went to the hospital to see Khaleda Zia on Friday (November 28) night. He said this while talking to reporters later.
Mirza Abbas said, we are now getting the results of the torture that was inflicted on her during the previous government’s tenure. She is so good that she is sick. Khaleda Zia is not stable at present, I personally think. She may recover, she will be fine if she gets better treatment. He also said, we tried to talk to her while maintaining distance, she recognized us and we greeted her, she replied.
Mirza Abbas, seeking prayers from the countrymen, said, “I once again appeal to the countrymen to pray not only for mosques and madrasas, but for everyone personally.” Incidentally, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is undergoing treatment in the CCU under the supervision of the Medical Board under the continuous close observation of local and foreign specialist doctors. Khaleda Zia, who is almost 80 years old and suffering from various diseases, was admitted to the hospital again on November 23.
Yesterday evening, the Chief Advisor issued a statement seeking prayers from the countrymen for the improvement of Khaleda Zia’s health. It said that he is aware of the progress of Khaleda Zia’s health and has instructed all concerned to ensure all necessary medical assistance. Later, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman expressed his gratitude to the Chief Advisor in a statement.
At midnight, Legal Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul and Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Monir Haider went to the hospital to inquire about Khaleda Zia’s physical condition. Asif Nazrul said in a Facebook post that Khaleda Zia’s physical condition is not good. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and top party leaders and activists were present at the hospital. On the other hand, BNP has ordered party leaders and activists not to gather in front of the hospital.
