Khaleda Zia under close observation in hospital, prayers sought

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, admitted to the capital’s Evercare Hospital, is being treated in a cabin under the close supervision of the Medical Board. Khaleda Zia’s personal physician and BNP Standing Committee member AZM Zahid Hossain gave this information on Monday (November 24) evening.
Khaleda Zia was brought to Evercare Hospital from her Gulshan residence Firoza for a health check-up last Sunday night. Then, on the advice of the Medical Board, she was admitted to the hospital. She is being given necessary treatment there. Meanwhile, Khaleda Zia has prayed to the countrymen for her recovery, said doctor AZM Zahid Hossain.
Khaleda Zia was last admitted to this hospital for a day on October 15. Her health check-up was also done at that time. She has been suffering from various complications including arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung and eye problems for a long time.
