Khaleda Zia is now able to walk without a wheelchair.
Former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia who is undergoing treatment at a clinic in London is now walking without a wheelchair. Her personal physician AZM Zahid Hossain said, her physical condition is stable now.
He said that Khaleda Zia’s physical examination reports have started coming. After receiving all the reports, the doctors will decide on her further treatment. However, her physical and mental condition is quite good.
BNP Advisory Board member Dr. Mohammad Enamul Haque Chowdhury said that regular health check-ups are going on every day. Although her physical condition is stable, she is walking without a wheelchair in the hospital.
AZM Zahid Hossain said that Professor John Patrick Kennedy saw Begum Zia on Sunday. She is undergoing treatment at a clinic in London under this London specialist doctor.
Besides, on Sunday afternoon, Tarique Rahman and daughter-in-law Dr. Zobaida Rahman went to visit her mother in the hospital with homemade food as usual. When reporters asked about Khaleda Zia’s health, she prayed for her mother.
The 79-year-old former prime minister went to London last Wednesday for advanced treatment for various complications including liver cirrhosis, kidney problems and heart disease.
