Joint operation in Madaripur, 4 arrested with drugs and weapons

In an anti-drug operation in Madaripur, the joint forces have arrested 4 people with drugs and locally made weapons. They were arrested between 4 pm and 10 pm on Wednesday (February 4). The arrested are – Dipu Bepari, son of Tajul Bepari of Amirabad in Madaripur Sadar Upazila, Sagar Khan, son of Zakir Khan of Purba Rasta village, Forkan Sardar, son of Ayub Ali Sardar of Laxmiganj village and Rana Khan, son of Tuku Khan of Hazrapur village.
According to army sources, 4 people were arrested in a special operation based on secret information. During this time, 530 pieces of Yaba, 1 metal detector, 2 binoculars, 1 canon camera, 25 torch lights, 3 automatic knives, 2 machetes, 1 axe, 1 telephone set, 4 tabs, 11 button phones, 1 saw, 5 drill machines, 21 watches, 1 CCTV camera, 14 earphones, 2 hammers and 4 sound boxes were recovered from them. The army also said that the process of handing over the recovered items to the police is underway.
