Jamaat will not be able to come to power until the end of time: Gayeshwar Chandra Roy

BNP Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy has alleged that Jamaat is making various unreasonable demands to obstruct the electoral process. He said this at a program organized at the house of Mir Sarafat Ali Sapu, Volunteer Affairs Secretary of the BNP Central Executive Committee, in Srinagar Upazila of Munshiganj on Sunday (July 20) afternoon. Gayeshwar Roy said that the demands of Jamaat are being made to obstruct the electoral process. Jamaat cannot tolerate that BNP will come to power without the Awami League. I am sure that Jamaat-e-Islami has no chance of coming to state power in Bangladesh until the end of time. Gayeshwar Roy also said that Jamaat is present in India and Pakistan. That is why they do not want to understand the language of the people, they only want to achieve their own interests. Also present at the event were BNP Central Executive Committee Joint Secretary General Advocate Abdus Salam Azad, Central Volunteer Affairs Secretary Mir Sarfat Ali Sapu, former Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohsin Ali Khan, Munshiganj District BNP Convener Awlad Hossain Ujjal and Jasim Mollah, among others.
