Jamaat to take tough stance if July charter is not implemented: Opposition leader
The July mass uprising has been insulted by not taking the oath of the Constitutional Reform Council. However, if the government does not take the initiative to implement the July charter, the opposition party Jamaat-e-Islami will take a tough stance. Opposition leader and Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said this.
This Wednesday (February 18) morning, he participated in a cleanliness program in front of Manipur School in the 60 feet area of Mirpur. At that time, he said that garbage will be cleaned for half an hour to an hour after Fajr every day. Mirpur, Kafrul will be developed as a model area.
He hopes that the government will provide funds for this work. If he lives in Dhaka, he will clean the garbage every day and if he lives outside Dhaka, he will do the same there too, said the Ameer.
