Jamaat Ameer Takes Selfies Next to Women Without Burqa: Rezaul Karim

Islami Andolan Bangladesh Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim has leveled allegations against Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. He made these remarks as the chief guest at an election rally organized by the party in Hatibandha in Hatibandha Upazila of Lalmonirhat ahead of the parliamentary elections on Thursday (January 29) afternoon.
Rezaul Karim said, “We did not say, boys, move away, girls, now you come. And old people take selfies next to women. Take selfies with women without burqa. Islamic Andolan cannot do this.” He also said that when there was anarchy in the country after August 5, Islamic Andolan played the role of a guard to protect the lives, property and honor of minorities. I took the risk of arranging the funerals and burials of those who died of Covid-19. I have also become a servant of people in difficult times.
