Israeli strikes did not damage Iran’s nuclear facilities: UN
Iran’s nuclear program has not been affected by deadly airstrikes by arch-rival Israel, the United Nations Atomic Energy Organization (IAEA) has said.
The company’s director general, Rafael Grossi, made a post about it on social media platform X. There, he said, there was no damage to Iran’s nuclear facilities in Israel’s attack.
He called for refraining from activities that could jeopardize the safety and security of nuclear and other radioactive materials.
The news agency AFP reported this information in a report.
Earlier, the Israeli Defense Force or IDF said that they had carried out specific attacks on Iranian military installations. The attack was carried out in response to a series of attacks by Iran over several months.
On the other hand, the White House says that Israel attacked Iran as part of self-defense.
Iran’s Air Defense Force has also commented on this. They said in a statement that several bases were attacked in Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam provinces. But these attacks have been countered with success. It has caused minor damage in some places.
It should be noted that Israel attacked various military installations of Iran in the early morning of Saturday amid the ongoing tension in the Middle East and the fear of war spreading.
