Israeli airstrikes kill 50 in Lebanon in two days

The Lebanese Health Ministry said at least 50 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in the past two days. At least 335 have been injured, CNN News reported.
Israeli airstrikes continued in Lebanon on Wednesday morning (March 4) local time. At least six people were killed and eight wounded in an airstrike south of the capital Beirut.
Israel said its ground forces in Lebanon would advance further to seize “strategically important areas” to prevent attacks on Israeli border settlements.
