Israel violates ceasefire again, 11 killed in Gaza

The ongoing ceasefire between Hamas and Israel in Gaza, Palestine, has not stopped the massacre by Netanyahu’s forces. On Friday (October 17), Israeli strikes in the eastern al-Zeitun area of the valley killed 11 members of the same family.
The Gaza Civil Defense said that this was a serious violation of the ceasefire that came into effect almost 11 days ago.
The Gaza Civil Defense said that on Friday evening, without warning, Israeli forces opened fire from a tank on a civilian vehicle carrying the Abu Shaban family in the Zeitun area of Gaza City.
Gaza Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal said in a statement that the family was trying to get to their home when the Israeli army opened fire. Seven children and three women were among the dead.
He said that they (the family) could have been warned or other measures could have been taken. What happened confirms that the occupiers are still bloodthirsty and determined to commit crimes against innocent civilians.
In a statement, Hamas described the Israeli attack on Shaban’s family in Gaza as “brutal”. The group alleged that the family was targeted without any reason. It called on US President Donald Trump and mediators to force Israel to abide by the ceasefire agreement.
Hamas said that in the attack, Israeli forces opened fire on civilians who crossed the so-called “Yellow Line”, the border line from which Israeli forces were supposed to withdraw under the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
Al Jazeera’s Gaza correspondent Hind Khudari said that many Palestinians do not have access to the internet, so they do not know where Israeli forces are still stationed, which puts ordinary people and families at risk.
