Israeli forces burn down last hospital in Gaza.
The Israeli military has burnt down the last hospital in the besieged Gaza Strip. They raided and set the Kamal Adwan hospital on fire on Friday, a report by Qatar-based media outlet Al-Jazeera said.
It is reported that about 350 people, including patients and staff, were in the hospital at the time; all of them were forcibly evacuated.
Another 37 were killed in the Israeli attacks carried out in the Gaza Strip from Thursday morning to Friday morning, and 98 others were injured. The death toll has risen to 45,436, with a further 108,038 Palestinians injured in the operation so far.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Gaza Health Ministry said, “The actual number of dead and injured is much higher. Many are buried under the rubble of buildings. It was not possible to rescue them due to the lack of necessary equipment and manpower. ‘
On October 7 last year, Hamas, the armed organization of Palestinian freedom fighters, fired thousands of rockets from the besieged Gaza Strip towards Israel. Within it, 1,400 people were killed in Israel. Since then, the Israeli forces have increased their oppression in years against the besieged Gaza Strip. More than 45,000 Palestinians lost their lives in the military operation carried out since that day, and more than 100,000 others were wounded. Most of them were civilians. However, the real number of victims is even higher. As some of the bodies buried under the rubble are yet to be recovered and hence not accounted for in the count.
