A fire has been reported at an industrial area in the United Arab Emirates after a deadly missile and drone attack by Iran. The fire broke out early Saturday (March 28). Authorities said there were no reports of casualties. AFP reported this.
The UAE’s defense ministry said the country’s air defenses were active to intercept cruise missiles and drones launched from Iran. Tehran is stepping up attacks in the Gulf region a month after the start of the regional war.
The Abu Dhabi government’s media office said in a statement that authorities were working to bring two fires under control in the Khalifa Economic Zone area. It also said that one ballistic missile was successfully intercepted. However, the debris of the missile fell to the ground and started the fire.
