Iran reveals how many civilians have been killed in the war so far

Tehran has released detailed figures on casualties from the joint US-Israeli attack on Iran. Abbas Masjedi Arani, head of Iran’s Forensic Medicine Organization, said in an official statement that a total of 3,375 bodies of Iranians killed in the war have been identified so far.
In a statement published on the country’s state media, Arani highlighted the horror of the war, saying that 2,875 of the dead were men and about 500 were women. The information was confirmed after a team of forensic experts completed a thorough examination and identification process of each body.
This was the most accurate official death toll since the conflict began on Iranian soil on February 28. Iran said that the rescue operation and identification of bodies were being carried out with great seriousness after the attack. The Iranian government has expressed its outrage and demanded justice from the international community over such a large number of deaths.
