Intelligence agencies did not have advance information about the Gopalganj incident: Home Affairs Advisor

Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that intelligence agencies did not have information that such a big incident would happen in Gopalganj. However, instructions have been given to avoid such incidents in the future. He said this while talking to reporters at the Secretariat on Thursday (July 17). The Home Affairs Advisor said that the situation in Gopalganj is currently calm and under control. All those involved in the incident will be brought to justice. No political identity will be seen here. He also said that any party can question the role of law enforcement agencies. The government has nothing to say in this matter.
