Information given by Hannan Masud on changing the name of NCP

National Citizens Party (NCP) Senior Joint Chief Coordinator Abdul Hannan Masud has clearly stated that the name of the party is not being changed. He confirmed this information in a post on social media at 10 pm last Saturday (September 21). Hannan Masud said that discussions are underway not about changing the name, but about merging multiple parties with the NCP.
In a post on his Facebook ID, he wrote, ‘One thing is clear, the name of NCP is not being changed. Discussions are underway about merging one or more parties with the NCP. And InshaAllah, if the youth power unites, a new era will begin in Bangladeshi politics.’
It is worth noting that several leaders of the two parties have told the media that efforts are being made to merge the National Citizens Party (NCP) and the People’s Rights Council before the next national elections. In this case, an alliance may be formed between them. Once again, there is a possibility of the two parties merging. Discussions are underway keeping two issues in mind.
