India wants to label Bangladesh a communal state.

BNP believes that India wants to introduce Bangladesh to the world community as a communal state. The party leaders believe that ISKCON’s activities in Bangladesh and the Indian government’s statements are based on the same principle. This is planned.

India’s statements and actions are inciting. They want to incite communal riots. They want to create such a situation in the country that Bangladesh can be presented to the world as a communal state. They also believe that the fallen fascist Awami League government is behind these incidents.

This issue came up in the party leaders’ review at the party’s standing committee meeting at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan last Monday. In a statement today, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “I strongly condemn the attack by extremists on the premises of the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission located in northern Agartala, India.” The attack on the premises of the Assistant High Commission by members of an organization called ‘Hindu Sangram Samiti’ is believed to have been premeditated. Entering the Assistant High Commission, lowering the Bangladesh flag, setting it on fire and vandalizing it is a clear violation of the Vienna Convention.

In the meeting, the party’s policymakers criticized India’s statement and actions regarding the arrest of Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Mancha spokesperson Chinmoy Krishna Das. They expressed concern over the attack on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala after several recent incidents. The party’s policymakers said that India’s behavior is beyond diplomatic etiquette. They are interfering in the internal affairs of Bangladesh unnecessarily.

Regarding the ongoing developments between the two countries, National Standing Committee member Begum Selima Rahman told Aamer Soomi that the party’s position has been conveyed through a statement to the media. Another important leader of the party said that the party’s position should be understood by looking at the party’s statement or press conference on sensitive issues. Or the party’s position should be understood from the statements of the acting chairman of the party, Tarique Rahman, or Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, or the press conference of BNP’s senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

A member of the BNP standing committee, who did not want to be named, said that many incidents took place inside India. Many Muslim religious leaders were arrested there. There was a lot of torture on Muslims in the communal riots in India. But Bangladesh did not react, going beyond diplomatic etiquette, saying that the matter was their internal matter.

Then why did their view on Bangladesh suddenly change so much?

According to sources at the meeting, BNP will hold a formal press conference today to protest India’s activities. A documentary on India’s recent and previous activities is scheduled to be shown at that time. Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, a member of the party’s standing committee, said that India is interfering in Bangladesh’s affairs unnecessarily. This cannot be neighborly behavior in any way. Even though many communal incidents have taken place in India, we have not crossed diplomatic etiquette. After the fall of Sheikh Hasina, there is a change in India’s perspective. There is widespread Hasina-loving among them, they do not want friendship with the people of Bangladesh.

Satisfied with the verdict of the August 21 case

The BNP National Standing Committee has expressed satisfaction with the verdict of the August 21 grenade attack. In the meeting, the leaders said that the verdict has proven that the case was purposeful. The case was filed only due to political vendetta. In the meeting, the party leaders said that the fallen Sheikh Hasina had a plan to wipe out the Zia family from politics. The August 21 grenade attack case is a part of that.

BNP will also publish a white paper on corruption

In the meeting, the members of the standing committee expressed surprise at the fact that 28 lakh crore taka was laundered during the 15-year rule of the Awami League. They said that Bangladesh has been economically destroyed due to money laundering. The party wants the government to take initiatives to bring back the laundered money. According to the meeting, BNP will publish a white paper on the entire economy, including money laundering. There, the interim government has recently printed 22,500 crore taka and given it to weak banks. Some party leaders have been given responsibility for this. They will present it to the nation by holding a press conference.

BNP to hold a concert on December 16

On the occasion of Victory Day, BNP will organize a big concert in Dhaka with domestic artists. This initiative has been taken to make the event new and grand. On the occasion of Victory Day, the students who are agitating will organize a concert on December 21. Popular Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will sing in this charity concert titled ‘Echoes of Revolution’. After a positive discussion about this concert in the meeting, BNP also decided to organize a similar program. It is known that domestic artists will perform there.
