An important meeting will be held in the Defense Acquisition Council (DAC) under the Ministry of External Affairs next week in this regard. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be present as the chairman of the meeting.
According to sources in the Ministry of Defense, it has been learned that 114 Rafales will be bought from France. Out of this, India will get 18 ready (in flying condition). The rest will also be manufactured in India and Indian technology will also be used in these aircraft. Of these fighter jets, 88 will have a seating capacity of one pilot. The remaining 26 can accommodate two pilots.
