Inconsistencies in July charter draft, time until August 20 to express opinions: Salahuddin

There are some inconsistencies in the final draft of the July Charter. In addition, some issues have not been presented correctly, said Salahuddin Ahmed, a member of the BNP standing committee. He said this in an interview with Jamuna Television on Sunday (August 17). Salahuddin Ahmed said that the BNP will review the final draft of the July Charter and express its opinions by August 20. Incidentally, the National Consensus Commission has already sent the final draft of the ‘July National Charter 2025’ to the political parties. It highlights the reforms on which consensus has been reached in the state’s constitution, electoral system, judiciary, public administration, police administration and anti-corruption. The draft of the July Charter mentions that the National Consensus Commission and various political parties, alliances and forces have agreed on these issues through mutual and joint discussions. However, not all parties agreed on all issues, with some parties objecting to some of the recommendations.
