If you want reforms, vote ‘yes’ in the referendum: Advisor Fauzul Kabir

Advisor to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan said, ‘If you want reforms, if you want change, if you want to see a good justice system, then you will definitely vote ‘yes’.’ He said these words while standing in front of a campaign vehicle at Tangail Shaheed Smriti Municipal Park on Monday (January 19) morning. Fauzul Kabir Khan said, ‘If you want the well-being of Bangladesh, if you don’t want to see violence on the streets, if you don’t want to see people killed. Then you will definitely vote ‘yes’. The key to the country is in your hands.’
The advisor also said that, ‘This is why we have a voting vehicle in the referendum campaign. Let there be another riot, let there be another August 5, let millions of people take to the streets. Let there be casualties. We do not want such a repetition.’
He further said, ‘A ‘yes’-‘no’ vote is needed to prevent such a repetition. If the people do not want such an incident to repeat, then the reform commission has given a report. A ‘yes’-‘no’ vote is needed to implement this reform program.’
The preacher said that incidents like repeated mass uprisings do not happen in other countries of the world, ‘Why does this happen in our country, that is why we want reforms in the state system. If you think that the previous government was right. The disappearances, murders were right, and it was good that the opposition party people could not stay at home, then vote ‘no’ in the referendum.’
At that time, Tangail Deputy Commissioner Sharifa Haque, Superintendent of Police Muhammad Shamsul Alam Sarkar, District Senior Election Officer Tajul Islam, District Senior Information Officer Tahlima Jannat and officials of various offices and departments of the district were

present.
