If there is violence on election day, you will understand what kind of preparations the administration has made: Home Affairs Advisor

There is no fear about the election. The number of law enforcement forces deployed this time has not been done in any previous election, said Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam.
He gave this information to media personnel today (February 10) in the conference room of the Faridpur District Commissioner’s office. On that day, the advisor held a meeting with the returning officers of Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Shariatpur, Rajbari districts, other administrative officers, the army, coast guard, BGB, RAB, police and Ansar.
The advisor said, ‘If there is any kind of violence on election day, you will understand on that day what kind of preparations the administration has made. Not everything can be revealed to you, some things remain secret.’ He said, “You have seen how much violence there was in the previous elections, but this time, by God’s will, no such violence has happened so far. I hope it will not happen again in the future.” The advisor added that the Election Commission has already clarified the issue of journalists using mobile phones to monitor the voting situation.
