I have no relation with Sheikh Hasina and Awami League: Quader Siddiqui
Krishak Sramik Janata League President Bangabir Quader Siddiqui (Bir Uttam) said, I have no relation with Sheikh Hasina and Awami League. The allegations of rehabilitating Awami League through Joy Bangla, Joy Bangabandhu slogans and freedom fighter rallies are baseless. He said this at a press conference at his residence after the attack and vandalism of Quader Siddiqui’s house in Tangail. Quader Siddiqui said, I do not support Awami League. My view is not like Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League. I love Bangabandhu, I love freedom fighters, I want to make freedom fighters safe. He said, the Bangladesh government has given me the highest title and honor for my contribution to the liberation war. I am the only person in the country who has received this title. My house is not safe. Then how will the homes of the common people be safe. At that time, he strongly criticized the arrest of 71 stage talkers including his elder brother Latif Siddiqui. Earlier, last Saturday night, a group of miscreants attacked Quader Siddiqui’s house, Sonar Bangla, on District Sadar Road in Tangail city, vandalizing the house’s car and window glass, and attempting to set it on fire.
