Husband and wife arrested with drugs in joint force operation
Two husband and wife drug dealers have been arrested with 440 grams of marijuana in a joint operation by the army and police in Galachipa, Patuakhali. During this, cash worth 3 lakh 5 thousand taka and a scale for selling drugs were seized.
The operation was conducted at 5:30 pm on Friday (January 23) under the leadership of Major Tanjil Hossain of Galachipa Army Camp based on secret information.
The arrested are Md. Ali Hossain (55) and his wife Mosha: Bhanu Begum (50) of Shantibag area of Galachipa Municipality. Galachipa Police Station OC Md. Zillur Rahman told us that the arrested are identified drug dealers and there are multiple cases against them. Legal action is being taken in this incident.
