Home Affairs Advisor calls on law enforcement agencies to provide information on suspects

Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that there is no reason to panic over Sheikh Hasina’s verdict on crimes against humanity on November 13. He told reporters after a meeting of the Law and Order Advisory Committee at the Secretariat on Tuesday (November 11) morning.
He said that if anyone suspicious is seen, it should be reported to the law enforcement agencies immediately. The law enforcement agencies have taken a strict stance regarding the Awami League’s lockdown on November 13. The situation will remain normal. No type of terrorist will be spared. Many times, terrorists get bail. In this way, a request will be made so that they do not get bail easily.
The Home Affairs Advisor said that the process of recovering illegal weapons is continuing. It will be expedited. Some weapons are left outside, hopefully they will be recovered. The sale of petrol on the roadside will be closed for a few days. This oil is used to cause accidents.
Patrols have been increased around the Awami League lockdown on November 13, security has been increased at important establishments. Security has been increased at tribunals, metrorail and railways. Law enforcement agencies have been kept on alert. Petrol sales have been stopped on the roadside due to burning of buses.
He also said that although isolated incidents have occurred in some places, no major processions are taking place anywhere. Law enforcement agencies are taking action. Along with the police, political parties and the general public should also come forward to prevent such incidents.
