Hasnat Abdullah’s warning about the elections
Hasnat Abdullah, the chief organizer of the National Civic Party (NCP) in the south and the candidate of the Jamaat-led alliance in Comilla-4 constituency, has warned that if any muscular terrorists come to occupy the polling station this time, they will be resisted. We are ready to make any sacrifice to ensure the people’s right to vote. This time the people will vote against terrorism, extortionists, looters and hegemony.
He said these things at an anti-aggression procession in Biralla area of Jafarganj union in Debidwar upazila of Comilla on Tuesday (January 6) afternoon. Hasnat said, “We will vote against those who are corrupt, tender riggers and file cases. This time we will vote for justice, to stand against corruption and Indian hegemony.”
Addressing the voters, Hasnat said, “This time you will guard the center, if they come to occupy the center, you will resist them.” This time we will not be sold to money. We will reject those who bring money. A leader went around after voters one day and took Rs 1000, and voters went around after the leader with money for five years. During the procession, he exchanged greetings with the voters. Leaders of Jamaat and NCP were present at the time.
