Hasina-Kamal case: Fourth day of testimony today

The fourth day of testimony against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, including three others, in the July-August crimes against humanity case is today. The testimony is scheduled to be taken at the tribunal headed by International Crimes Tribunal-1 Chairman Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Majumder. Former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, who was an accused and turned public witness, has already been produced before the tribunal. Earlier, the third day of testimony and interrogation ended on August 6. Two witnesses gave their statements as eyewitnesses that day. One of them is Rina Murmu and the other is AKM Moinul Haque. So far, five people have testified in this case. On July 10, the tribunal ordered the start of the trial by framing formal charges against Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun. Apart from this case, 15 accused in 3 more cases from Rampura, Mohammadpur, and Ashulia will be presented before the tribunal today.
