Hasina accused of Rs 2,500 crore in Delhi for vote-rigging deal

S Alam gave Tk 2,500 crore to Sheikh Hasina in Delhi as part of a conspiracy to sabotage the election – BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged. He made this allegation at a discussion meeting on the 10th death anniversary of Kazi Zafar Ahmed at the National Press Club on Wednesday (August 27) afternoon. Mirza Fakhrul said that not only Sheikh Hasina, but some political circles are also trying to sabotage the election in the name of making new demands. A circle within the government is very consciously trying to prevent the pro-democracy forces from coming to power. There is no alternative to elections to counter these conspiracies. For this reason, the BNP Secretary General has also urged to quickly complete the July Charter reform work without creating complications. Mirza Fakhrul has asked everyone to be vigilant and careful from their respective positions.
