Hamas to release Israeli hostages on Monday: Trump

Hamas may release Israeli hostages next Monday. US President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday night (October 10). He said that under the US-backed ceasefire agreement, Hamas and other armed groups are supposed to hand over 20 live prisoners and 28 bodies by next Monday.
Donald Trump said that next Monday is very important. That day, Israel will exchange prisoners with Hamas. In exchange for the release of 48 Israelis held by Hamas, Israel will release 2,000 Palestinians. He said that this process has already begun.
The US president said that not many people know where the living hostages are. He also said that he will visit Cairo and Israel this week.
Hamas has not yet officially announced anything about the hostage release. However, according to the agreement, the hostages are supposed to be released within 72 hours of the ceasefire taking effect.
