Hamas returns bodies of four more hostages
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Hamas had returned the bodies of four more dead hostages.
The bodies were handed over to Israeli forces in coffins late Tuesday (October 14) under the supervision of the Red Cross.
The handover came as Israel warned that aid to Gaza would be limited until Hamas returned all (28) dead hostages. Earlier on Monday, Hamas returned 20 living and four dead hostages.
Israel also returned the bodies of 45 dead Palestinians to Gaza on Tuesday, the Red Cross said in a statement.
The 48 hostages were due to be returned by noon on Monday under a ceasefire deal brokered by US President Donald Trump, which both Israel and Hamas have accepted.
Although all the living hostages have been returned, the bodies of 20 dead hostages have not been returned, increasing pressure on both Hamas and the Israeli government.
