Hadi’s body at Suhrawardy Hospital morgue for autopsy
The body of Inqilab Manch spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi has been taken to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. It was taken to the morgue from the cold storage of the National Heart Institute at 9:40 am today, Saturday (December 20).
At this time, Hadi’s body was brought to the morgue under tight security from the army, BGB, police and law enforcement agencies. Hadi’s relatives, fellow soldiers and colleagues were also with him. Since morning, many people from far and wide have come to see Hadi for the last time in front of the hospital. After the autopsy at Suhrawardy Hospital, he will be given a bath at around 11:30 am. After the rest of the formalities, his body will be taken to the South Plaza of the National Parliament. Hadi’s prayers will be offered at 2 pm.
Meanwhile, today (Saturday) is being observed as a national mourning day for the death of Sharif Osman Hadi. On the occasion of the day, the national flag will be flown at half-mast on all government, semi-government, autonomous institutions, educational institutions, government and private buildings and Bangladesh missions abroad on Saturday (December 20). Earlier, in his address to the nation on Thursday (December 18) night, Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus Sharif declared today as a national mourning day for the death of Osman Hadi. Incidentally, Osman Hadi was seriously injured in a gunfight between miscreants in Bijoynagar in the capital on December 12. He was then taken to Dhaka Medical Hospital where he underwent surgery. Later, at the request of his family, he was admitted to Evercare Hospital. From there, he was taken to Singapore General Hospital for advanced treatment.
