Hadi’s autopsy completed, funeral preparations finalized

The autopsy of Inqilab Manch convener Sharif Osman Hadi has been completed. The process was completed at 11:40 am today, Saturday (December 20) at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College morgue in the capital. After the autopsy, the body was taken back to the National Heart Institute morgue. After being bathed there, preparations are underway to take the body to the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban for the funeral.
Earlier, at 9:40 am today (December 20), Hadi’s body was taken from the National Heart Institute morgue to Suhrawardy Medical College by ambulance. At that time, strict security arrangements were ensured in the entire area. According to family and Inqilab Manch sources, after the body is bathed at the Heart Institute, he will be taken to the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban for the funeral. His funeral will be held today at 2 pm as per the pre-scheduled time.
Meanwhile, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has taken extensive security measures for the funeral. Adequate police and BGB have been deployed in and around the Parliament Building. The DMP said that for security reasons, the police personnel on duty at the funeral will use 1,000 body-worn cameras. The entire area has been brought under CCTV and intelligence surveillance. Visitors have been requested not to carry any kind of bags or heavy objects. In addition, the administration has declared a complete ban on flying drones in and around the Parliament Building. Meanwhile, a large number of people have been seen in the Parliament Building area since morning to pay their respects to Hadi. It was seen at the gathering place that a large number of people, including students, public and common people from different parts of the country including the capital, have started gathering on Manik Mia Avenue since this morning to pay their respects to Hadi. It was filled to the brim before 11:30 am. Today, thousands of people are entering Manik Mia Avenue in small and big processions. They are shouting slogans demanding justice for Hadi’s murder. The entire area is shaking with strong slogans like ‘We will all remain Hadi, we will fight for ages’ and ‘We will not let the blood of Hadi Bhai go in vain’.
