A clash between two factions over the control of the jute business in Gazipur, gunfire and cocktail explosions. During this, a truck loaded with jute and a businessman were accused of looting about three lakh taka. A motorcycle was also burnt in the attack.
The incident took place yesterday (March 7) near Manol Fashion Garments in Vitipara, Bason area of ​​Sadar. The victims alleged that Manol Fashion Garments had a contract to buy jute with Kaushik Khan, the owner of Khan Trading. According to that contract, they were ambushed yesterday when they went to buy jute.
It is alleged that about two to two and a half hundred people led by Bason Police Station BNP leader Sirajul Haque, Ward No. 14 BNP General Secretary Rafiqul Islam and Ward Jubo Dal President Nazmul carried out the attack with weapons.
At that time, many of the attackers were carrying domestic weapons, Ramda. The attackers allegedly fired several rounds and detonated several cocktails.
