Goldsmith killed, 2 injured in motorcycle accident
A goldsmith named Abdus Salam was killed in a motorcycle accident in the Chanmari area of Fatulla on the Dhaka-Narayanganj Link Road. Two motorcyclists were injured in the incident. The accident occurred at 11 pm on Wednesday (November 5). The identities of the two injured could not be immediately confirmed.
Witnesses said that two unidentified youths were riding a motorcycle at a reckless speed and hit goldsmith Salam while he was heading towards Chashara. Salam died on the spot. At that time, the two youths were injured after falling off the motorcycle.
Locals rescued the two of them and took them to Khanpur Hospital in the city. From there, the emergency department doctors sent them to Dhaka Medical College. Fatulla Model Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Anwar Hossain said that the police have been sent to find out the names of the deceased. Legal action will be taken in this regard.
