Ghosts of dictatorship trying to sabotage elections: Faruk
BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Zainul Abdin Faruk said that the interim government is preparing to hold elections next February, but ghosts of dictatorship are trying to sabotage the elections. He told reporters this after paying tribute to the party’s founder, martyred President Ziaur Rahman, along with leaders of the Nationalist Creative Publishing Council, on Sunday (October 26).
He said that for meaningful elections, the government’s activities must be successful. In addition, awareness about elections must be created in every corner of the country. He further commented that in the last 15 years, there have been attempts to make textbooks biased.
