Fuel crisis in Dhaka

The fuel crisis in the capital has become acute. As most of the pumps are closed, the common people are suffering immensely. Long queues are seen even at the pumps that are open. They are not getting any relief even after waiting for hours to get fuel.
On Tuesday night (March 24), many were seen standing in front of filling stations all night. They spent a sleepless night in the hope of getting a little fuel. The situation has not changed even after the night passed and this Wednesday morning.
Drivers and ordinary customers say that this crisis caused by the ongoing war situation in the Middle East has endangered city life. Everything from transportation to daily activities has been negatively affected.
