Four people, including father and daughter, died in a road accident

Four people, including a father and daughter, died in separate road accidents in Sirajganj. The accidents occurred in different areas of the district on Monday night.
The deceased are Abul Kalam Biswas, Nayeb-e-Amir of Raiganj Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami and convener of Raiganj Press Club, Nur Nabi Hossain (55) of Char Nabipur village in Shahjadpur upazila, and Hannan Khan (35) and his 3-year-old daughter Hafsa Khatun of Bahuti village in Sadar upazila.
Raiganj Press Club member Khorshed Alam said, “Abul Kalam Biswas was returning home on a motorcycle at night after completing a Jamaat-e-Islami training camp program in Bogra. On the way, when he reached Sonka area of ​​Sherpur upazila on the Bogra-Sirajganj highway, the motorcycle lost control and hit the road divider and was seriously injured. He was later rescued and taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogra, where he died late at night.
The deceased Abul Kalam Biswas was a teacher at Raiganj Mohila Madrasa and a correspondent for a weekly newspaper called Sonar Bangla.
On the other hand, it has been learned that an unidentified person, Noor Nabi of Charanabipur village in Shahjadpur upazila, was hit by a truck while crossing the road.
Hatikumrul Highway Police Station OC Ismail Hossain said, “Hannan Khan was going to Sattikari area of ​​Salanga in Ullapara upazila on a motorcycle with his wife and two children.” When he reached Salanga area on the way, a truck ran over the motorcycle “They fled. The child Hafsa died on the spot.” The OC also said, “Later, Hannan, his wife Brishti Khatun and son Hamza were rescued in injured condition and admitted to Sirajganj General Hospital. Abdul Hannan died there late at night.”
