Four new members of PSC took oath

Four newly appointed members of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) have taken oath. Chief Justice Syed Refat Ahmed read out their oath at the Judges Lounge of the Supreme Court on Wednesday afternoon.

Supreme Court Registrar General Aziz Ahmad Bhuya conducted the oath ceremony.

Earlier they were appointed on 31 October. These members are – Md. Zahirul Islam Bhuiyan, ASM Golam Hafiz, Dr. M. Sohel Rahman and Dr. Chowdhury Saima Ferdous.

Chairman of PSC on October 8. 12 members of the commission including Sohrab Hossain submitted their resignations. After that appointed Professor Mobaswer Monem as chairman and Nurul Kadir as member. Aminul Islam, Md. Nazmul Amin Mazumder, Md. Suzayet Ullah was appointed. They were sworn in on October 15.
