Formula One races in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain cancelled due to war
Formula One has announced the cancellation of two upcoming races due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East. US media outlet CNN News reported this information in a report on Sunday (March 15). Formula One said that the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Grand Prix races have been officially cancelled. They were originally scheduled for April 12 and April 19.
Formula One said that the reason for the cancellation was the ‘current situation in the Middle East’. Although alternative plans are being considered, these races will not take place on time. Formula One president Mohammed bin Sulayem said, ‘The safety of our colleagues, drivers and spectators will be the highest priority. We have made this decision after all considerations.’
