Former army officer Ziaul Ahsan in tribunal

Former army officer Ziaul Ahsan has been brought to the International Crimes Tribunal-1 in the disappearance case. The case will be heard today, Sunday (October 26). The other accused in the case, dictator Sheikh Hasina, is absconding. The state party may inform the tribunal about the progress of the investigation in this case today. In addition, the 20th witness against 8 policemen including former DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman in the murder case of 6 people including Shaheed Anas in Chankharpul during the mass uprising will give his statement in the tribunal today. This testimony will be taken in the International Crimes Tribunal-1 headed by Justice Golam Mortuza Majumder. Earlier, on October 16, Youth and Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan testified for the second day. He demanded exemplary punishment for those involved in this case, including Sheikh Hasina.
Former Shahbagh Police Station Inspector Arshad Hossain, Constables Sujan, Imaz Hossain and Nasirul have been arrested in this case so far. In addition, former DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman, Joint Commissioner Sudip Chakraborty, Ramna Zone DC Akhtar, AC Imrul are absconding. On the other hand, the hearing of the Farmgate martyr Golam Nafis murder case during the July mass uprising has been fixed for Sunday. The prosecution will inform the tribunal about the progress of the investigation in this case.
