Fire in the raw market in the Chandana Chowrasta area of Gazipur
A fire broke out in the raw market in the Chandana Chowrasta area of Gazipur. The fire broke out around 6:30 am today, Thursday (September 4). Later, five units of the fire service brought the fire under control after an hour and a half of effort. Mohammad Mamun, Deputy Assistant Director of the Gazipur Fire Service, said that upon receiving the news of the fire, 3 units of the Bhogra Fire Service and 2 units of the Joydevpur Fire Service started working to control the fire. The fire was brought under control around 7:30 am. 30 to 35 shops in the market were burnt in the fire. No one was injured in the incident. However, the fire service could not immediately provide any information about the cause of the fire.
