Fire in blanket godown in Chittagong
A fire broke out in a blanket godown of a multi-storey building in the Kadamtali area of Chittagong city. Nine units of the Fire Service and Civil Defense are working to control the fire. The fire broke out at around 1:35 pm today, Monday (November 24).
Chittagong Fire Service and Civil Defense Assistant Director Md. Anwar Hossain said that a fire broke out in a blanket godown on the fourth floor of a five-storey building next to the Kadamtali Pora Mosque. Nine units of the Fire Service are working at the scene after receiving the news. It is not yet known how the fire broke out. He said that the fire spread quickly to the godown because of the blanket.
