Fire breaks out at plastic factory in Narayanganj at midnight

A fire broke out at a plastic factory in Narayanganj. Seven units from three fire service stations brought the fire under control for four hours and the fire was brought under control at 6 am today.
Abdullah Al Arefin, Deputy Assistant Director of Narayanganj Fire Service, said that a fire broke out at a factory named Plastic Sign BD in Gognagar area of ​​Narayanganj Sadar Police Station at 1:45 am on Tuesday (January 20). After receiving the news of the fire, a total of seven units of the fire service quickly reached the spot and started work to control the fire.
He said that the fire spread quickly because there were flammable plastic products in the factory. However, no casualties were reported in the fire. The extent of the damage could not be determined immediately. The fire service has not yet confirmed the exact cause of the fire. Meanwhile, the fire is expected to cause extensive damage to the factory. The fire service said that the extent of the damage and the cause of the fire will be investigated.
