Female doctor commits suicide by writing suicide note on palm

A female doctor committed suicide by hanging herself in a residential hotel in Maharashtra, India. Before committing suicide, she had accused a police officer of rape in a suicide note written on her palm. The rape incident took place at a government hospital in Maharashtra’s Satara district. Indian media NDTV reported this information in a report today (October 26).
The doctor’s left palm was written that Sub-Inspector Gopal of Phaltan police station had mentally and physically tortured her for five months and raped her four times. Due to the torture, she decided to end her life. At the same time, software engineer Prashant had mentally harassed her.
A police sub-inspector (SI) named Gopal has also been arrested in this incident. The police have also arrested a software engineer named Prashant in this incident. Satara Superintendent of Police Tushar Doshi said that SI Gopal himself went to the police station and surrendered. Police said the doctor, who worked at a government hospital in Satara district, was found hanging from a hotel in Phaltan city on Thursday night (October 23).
