Farmer’s throat slit body recovered from house in Netrokona

Police have recovered the throat slit body of an old man in Nariapara village of Netrokona Sadar. The deceased farmer is Helal Uddin (58). His wife Bedena Akhter was sleeping in the same room. At 4 am today, Sunday (December 21), Bedena Akhter called her neighbor Rafiqul Islam and informed him about her husband’s murder.
Police said that Helal Uddin was sleeping in the same room with his wife Bedena Akhter last Saturday night. This morning, the wife woke up and found her husband in a slaughtered state in the house. Later, when she screamed, the people around rushed to inform the police. Later, the police went to the spot and recovered the body.
Netrokona Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Al Mamun Sarkar confirmed the truth of the incident. He said that the police are working to find out the real reason for the murder. The police are present at the spot. After the autopsy report is completed, the body will be sent to the Netrokona Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
