    Fakhrul recited Rabi Tagore’s poems to his childhood friends.

    BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir spent a joyful and busy day with his childhood friends at the age of seventy. Reminiscing about the memorable days, he emotionally recited his favorite poems written by Rabindranath Tagore to his childhood friends.

    He recited this while participating in a gathering organized by his childhood friends at Howlader Himagar Limited located in Palli Bidyut area in Jagannathpur Union of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila today, Wednesday.

    Mirza Faisal Amin, the younger brother of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul, General Secretary of Thakurgaon District BNP, confirmed the matter.

    The BNP Secretary General was overjoyed to meet his school classmates in Thakurgaon after a long time. He remembered the days he had left behind when he met his old friends. He was overcome with emotion while talking about his childhood memories.

    Mirza Faisal Amin said, ‘In this program, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and his childhood friends, seniors and juniors of the area, spent the whole day with him. This was his personal program. There were two ponds there and he spent the whole day sitting there.’

    He also said, ‘There is a Nikkan Music School here. One of the founders of which is BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. The teachers and students of that Nikkan performed music there. At their request, the BNP Secretary General recited a poem.’
