Fake policeman arrested in Kalukhali, Rajbari

The army has arrested a fake policeman named Tushar (25) from Sonapur More area of Kalukhali Upazila in Rajbari. He was arrested today (August 18) at 2 pm. The arrested person is the son of deceased Joynul Sheikh of Biharia Para village of Sheikhpara union of Khoksha upazila of Kushtia. It is learned that Tushar was roaming around in Sonapur More of Kalukhali upazila posing as a policeman. At that time, locals chased him as his movements were suspicious and he took shelter in Kalukhali army camp. Later, the army arrested him and handed him over to Kalukhali police station after interrogation. Officer-in-charge of Kalukhali police station Md. Jahedur Rahman said that after receiving information about the fake police, he was rescued from the hands of the public and brought to the police station. He also said that further legal proceedings against him are under process at this time.
