Fake doctor arrested at Jessore General Hospital

A fake intern doctor named Abdur Rahman Zakir (27) has been arrested from Jessore General Hospital and handed over to the police. He was arrested in front of the hospital’s ticket counter on Monday (July 7) at around 1 pm. The arrested Abdur Rahman Zakir is the son of Mujibur Rahman of Shankarpur Ishaq Road area of ​​Jessore city. Jessore General Hospital Superintendent Dr. Hussain Safayat said that the young man named Abdur Rahman Zakir was wearing a white apron and introducing himself as an intern doctor of Jessore Medical College Hospital. At that time, he took 500 taka from a patient named Sanjida (36) of the old Kasba area of ​​the city by promising to get various tests done. When the matter seemed suspicious, the patient’s relatives informed the police officer in charge of the hospital, Sohel Rana. Then he interrogated the young man. At one stage of the interrogation, he admitted that he was not an intern doctor. At that time, the identity card of the Barisal Institute of Health Technology for the academic year 2021-22 was recovered from him. The hospital superintendent further said that police member Sohel Rana later took the young man to him. He immediately filed a complaint against him and handed him over to the Kotwali police station for legal action.
