Faiz Ahmed, a special correspondent for the English daily New Age, has been appointed as the Senior Assistant Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor. He has been appointed to this post on a contractual basis against the vacant post of Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor.
This information was given in a notification signed by Abul Hayat Md. Rafiq, Deputy Secretary of the Contracts and Foreign Employment Branch of the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday.
The notification said that Faiz Ahmed has been appointed on a contractual basis as the ‘Senior Assistant Press Secretary’ in the Press Wing of the Chief Advisor’s office against the vacant post of Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor with a salary of Taka 69,850/- in the 5th grade of the scale of 43,000-69,850/-, with a maximum salary of Taka 69,850/- (fixed).
Other terms and conditions of this appointment will be determined by the contract. The notification also mentioned that this order has been issued in the public interest.
