National Citizens Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam has commented that extortion has started like an epidemic in the country. He said this at the inauguration of the NCP’s upazila office in Mujibnagar, Meherpur, despite the rain on Tuesday (July 8) night. At the same time, Nahid Islam urged everyone to come forward to solve the problems of each area. He said that changes will come across the country only through small changes in the area. The program was also attended by NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari, Central Joint Coordinator and Meherpur District Chief Coordinator Advocate Shakil Ahmed, Central Member Sohel Rana, Upazila Chief Coordinator Al Mamun Sentu and local leaders.
