Elon Musk and Ronaldo at Trump’s dinner

US President Donald Trump hosted a dinner in honor of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday (November 18). Tesla CEO and Trump’s former close friend Elon Musk was also invited to the dinner. In addition, Trump invited Portuguese legendary football star Cristiano Ronaldo to the White House, among other guests. Both were seen at the light-hearted dinner.
Reuters reported, citing sources, that the CEOs of Chevron, Qualcomm, Cisco, General Dynamics and Pfizer were present at the forum. In addition, it is known that famous golfer Tiger Woods also attended the dinner. Meanwhile, according to White House officials, Ronaldo’s visit to the United States went as planned. Trump is also scheduled to meet him.
Incidentally, Ronaldo has never been seen in public in the United States since he was accused of rape. In 2017, a teacher in the United States, Catherine Mayorga, filed a complaint against Ronaldo. Ronaldo denied the allegations, but the court awarded the woman more than $3.5 million in damages.
On the other hand, Trump appointed his friend Elon Musk as the head of the government’s intelligence agency. But Musk later resigned from the post due to various controversies. It is worth noting that this is Crown Prince Salman’s first visit to the United States since the murder of journalist and staunch critic of the Saudi royal family, Jamal Khashoggi, in Istanbul in 2018.
