Either now, or never: Hasnat Abdullah
Some political parties, including the anti-discrimination student movement, have been demanding the removal of the country’s president Md. Sahabuddin.
They are meeting periodically for this purpose. The leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement held a meeting with the 12-party coalition on the issue of the President’s impeachment last Sunday evening.
At the end of the meeting, Hasnat Abdullah, the convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, said that the president must leave.
This time he gave a new message about the removal of the President on his personal Facebook account by writing ‘Yes now, no – never’. He made such comments on social media Facebook early Monday morning.
In the comment box of that post, Hasnat also provided a link to a video titled ‘Sahabuddin Chuppu ken khale na?’ by online activist Pinaki Bhattacharya.
Earlier, leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement had a meeting with Jamaat-BNP on the same issue.
